Services that receive a request from your browser

• Google Fonts - serves the typefaces used on this site. Your browser requests these directly, so Google may log the request. This is the only external request the site makes. Self-hosting the fonts removes it.

Software running on our server

None of these receive your documents from anywhere other than our own server, and none transmit them elsewhere:

• Flask - the Python web framework serving these pages.
• pdfplumber - extracts text and layout coordinates from PDF files.
• Tesseract OCR (via pytesseract) - recognises text in images and scanned pages.
• Pillow - opens and prepares image files for processing.
• openpyxl - generates the Excel spreadsheets you download.
• Gunicorn / Waitress - the production web servers.

Infrastructure

The application runs on commercial hosting infrastructure. Our hosting provider necessarily has technical access to the server, and their own privacy and security terms apply to that infrastructure layer.

No advertising or analytics vendors

We do not integrate advertising networks, analytics platforms, session-recording tools, heatmaps, chat widgets, or marketing pixels.
