Frequently Asked Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no charge, no trial period, no account, and no watermark on the output.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Upload a file and download the result. We deliberately have no login system.

Which banks are supported?

Any bank. The tool maps columns using the table's own header row rather than a fixed list of bank formats, so it is not limited to specific institutions.

Can I convert several pages at once?

Yes. Select every page together and they are merged into one continuous spreadsheet, with duplicate headers removed.

What is the file size limit?

25 MB per file. Most statements are comfortably under this.

Are scanned PDFs supported?

Yes. If a PDF contains no embedded text, it is treated as a scan and read using OCR automatically.

What image formats work?

JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, and WEBP.

What format is the output?

A standard Excel .xlsx file, which opens in Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice, and Numbers.

Can I get CSV instead?

Not currently - output is .xlsx only. You can save as CSV from Excel or Google Sheets in one step, and native CSV export is on our list.

Is my data secure?

Your upload is deleted immediately after conversion and the generated file is removed shortly after. Nothing is stored long-term and nothing is shared. See our Privacy Policy.

Do you use my documents to train AI models?

No, never. See our AI Usage Disclosure for exactly what the processing does.

Why are some rows misaligned?

Almost always image quality. A low-resolution or angled photograph gives the recogniser too little to work with. A flat, well-lit scan converts dramatically better - and a digital PDF better still.

How do I get the best results?

Use the original PDF if you have one. If you must photograph a page, shoot straight down, fill the frame, avoid shadows, and use your camera's highest resolution.

Does it preserve my table's formatting?

Column structure and row order are preserved, with a formatted header row and frozen panes. Amount columns are written as real numbers so they calculate correctly.

What is the Dr/Cr column in my output?

Some statements print a Cr or Dr marker fused onto the balance figure, which makes the column non-numeric. We split that marker into its own column so the balance stays a usable number.

Can I convert invoices and receipts too?

Yes. Any document with a tabular layout and a clear header row generally works, though results are most consistent on statement-style tables.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, the site is fully responsive and you can convert a photo directly from your phone.

Why did my conversion return no rows?

The tool could not find a header row it recognised. This usually means the image is too low-resolution or the header text was too degraded to read. Try a clearer scan.

Is there an API?

Not yet. Tell us on the Request a Feature page if you need one - it helps us prioritise.

Can I use this for my business?

Yes, commercial use is fine within our Acceptable Use Policy. Do verify converted figures before relying on them for accounting.
